             The Japanese and Chinese people are immigrated to the United States having their own separate goals. They have different religious practices; the Chinese believing in confuses, but the Japanese are different from them because Japanese didn't believe in confuses. The experiences from Japanese and Chinese immigrants were also different but they didn't differ by that much. There is no doubt that, in crossing the Pacific, Chinese immigrants brought with them their cultural tradition, which later contributed to their adjustment in the United States. They had to assimilate to the American society and culture to fit into the America society. .
             The experience for the Japanese immigration coming to America was looking for jobs because the reputation of America was one of opportunity. "Give us your poor, your hungry, and your huddled masses". They didn't know the experience that they had gone through to survive in the new world. They were hard working workers and they had positive attitudes toward the other workers, similarly to the Chinese people. They are more educated then the Chinese because they have a stronger government. Their government recommended most of the Japanese who immigrant to the United States must pass by their own skill.

             There are other reasons why the Chinese are immigrant to America. It is not until the Opium War that fought with the British. The British troops have a stronger arm force than Chinese army. The Chinese lost the war because they used their martial art go against the British's machine and technology. The land also being destroyed after the Chinese are being defeated. So they have to migrant to other country to lived and survive. .
             Most of the Chinese men were learning to become laundrymen because they had no choice. They had to either chose between suffering from death and surviving the next day. The reason for Chinese immigrating is that they were driven by poverty from their overpopulated lands.
