Prostitution

Should the worlds oldest profession, prostitution, be legalized? Yes, for many different reasons, it is very dangerous, it gives the United States a bad name and it is very unjust towards women. Even though all guys think it would be cool and it would be a whole lot easy I still feel that prostitution should not be legalized.

One reason that prostitution should not be legalized is that it is a very dangerous occupation. Prostitutes have the risk of getting a disease from somebody and then passing it along to another person. It would be a chain reaction; soon everybody would end up with some disease. Another risk is pregnancy. Will the prostitute keep it, put it in an orphanage, or decide to get an abortion? It is not worth finding out.

Another reason that prostitution should not be legalized is that it gives a bad name to United States. What kind of country would you want to bring your children to if there is a prostitute on every corner asking if you want a good time? It will bring filth and disease into every town because of the way they dress and operate.

The last reason prostitution should not be a career is that it is very unjust towards women. They would be working for some pimp that would not care if they get beat up or even killed as long as they got their money. They would have to deal with being judged by other men and women. The income would probably not be the best in the job market and if your raising a family then it would not be easy.
             .
In closing, it would be a very dreadful decision to make prostitution legal. It would cause an outbreak of disease that will cover all of the United States, it would bring crime and disorder to your neighborhoods, and it would devalue the United States very considerable. Finally the only place that prostitution belongs is in the history books. .
