Ethics and decision making

They are there for you in a crisis, they never come up with excuses as to why they cannot make it, or help you out. You also think of the reliability of a paycheck, your home, the love of your family.
Loyalty: Loyalty can be a tricky thing. In most relationships we tend to think of loyalty as the foundation for that relationship. Such as the husband and wife, employer and employee, and friendships. Loyalty is a responsibility that most people tend to take lightly or ignore. You can also have loyalties to a certain hotel chain or airline, yet one bad experience with that company, your loyalties tend to waiver.
The other ground rules of decision making are Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. Like Trustworthiness there are several subdivisions of each of these ground rules as well. I am going to just look at the main ground rules, yes each thing is important to cover, but by evaluating the main topic we can get the idea of the other individual topics.
Respect: The Golden Rule is a prime example of respect. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Respect prohibits the acts of: violence, whether it be against a person or property, humiliation as making fun of someone or something else is not respectful, manipulation and exploitation. Being respectful means that you are civil to others even when the situation is not, being courteous to others even when they are not courteous to you, always being decent, always showing dignity, tolerance and acceptance of any situation shows that you can be respectful.
Responsibility: Life is full of choices, full of responsibilities. If you have a family, you have a responsibility to them to bring home the money, to support them, to take care of them when they are sick, to make sure that you can give them all the comforts that you can afford. Everyone has a responsibility to their jobs, whether they are self-employed, employed by a major corporation, or a stay at home mom.
