Mustard Gas Kills Many!! .
As if living in trenches wasn't bad enough for soldiers, they now have a new danger to watch out for. Mustard Gas, whose proper name is Yperite, is a deadly chemical that is being used against our forces by the German Army. We are still unsure of it origin and still a little iffy on exactly where it can be found at the moment. But we do know that our soldiers over there right now, are dieing left and right due to this hazardous chemical. The problem with Mustard Gas is that it is odorless. Once that it is inside the body it takes only twelve hours to take effect and start killing. Twelve hours may seem like a long time, but when you are solider, dieing slow is painful, and twelve hours is just half the day of the fighting you are doing for our country during this war. Mustard Gas is so powerful that only a little bit of it is necessary to be used and expose to the soldiers for death. It can be placed in any shell or bomb that can explode. The chemical last for several weeks in the soil and the air that has been contaminated by it. For those who have soldiers fighting in this war, here is how you can remain updated on some facts about what it now being used in battle. The skin of an effected person begins to blister, the solider may vomit, and their eyes become sore. We are not talking about one or two people dieing from a rifle, but rather thousands of our own, dieing from a poisonous chemical. Please beware that what is being used in war, is also being carefully avoided as much as possible by our soldiers. .

American Becomes Involved!!.
Recently back in April, President Woodrow Wilson declared war. Not only are we going to have our overseas soldiers fighting for our side, but now we need more soldiers to represent the fighters for the United States. By next year (1918) in September, all men between the ages of 21 and 30 will need to register for the military.
