Fatal gun accidents involving children also fell significantly, from 495 in 1975 to fewer than 250 in 1995. .
Many Americans have also had the idea that one child is killed everyday in a gun accident instilled in their brains courtesy of the media. This claim is absolutely false. In America, when you become 18 years of age you are no longer a child, you are an adult. If the government is going to have such control of guns, what's next? Swimming pools perhaps.
Not only does the government want you to believe that guns are what's killing our nation's children, it wants you to fall into the myth and misrepresentation that has many people believing that most murders are committed by normal, everyday people; and it does.
