I neither agree nor disagree about the payment package Mr. Crosso is set up to receive in the near future. I believe everyone has to make a living somehow. Some people make more money than others, which is just how life is. I don't agree with the amount of money that baseball players or football make. They also make ridiculous amounts of money for the amount of work they put in. They make millions and millions of dollars each year playing a game they love. Some people are just better off than others. .
Mr. Crosso did put a lot of hard work into his job over the years; he doesn't deserve nearly the amount of money he is going to receive within the next few weeks. He and the New York Stock Exchange have been disclosing the amount of money he will receive for a while now and that is why everyone is upset and is calling for his resignation. I wouldn't want someone leading me that has be unclear about the amount of money that they are making on top of their regular salary. I could understand if he was making a little more on top of his regular salary, but he is making an extra 140 million dollars in a deferred-pay package. The reason no one approve of this is because it's just out of line! An average American would have to work 5200 to earn the amount of money he is getting.
Overall I just think it's disgusting that someone could make these large amounts of money and still complain about not making enough money. I guess that is how life in America is.
