The story's theme is you should be happy and thankful for who you are and what you have. You don't appreciate something or somebody until they or it is gone. That is the main theme of my novel.
There are only a few important characters in my book. One of the main characters is Lutha Tallstaff. She is a single mother of one. She is middle aged and has dark brown hair. She is searching for Leelson. Leelson is an adventurer who disappeared. He took with him what may be the only clue to the nature of the deadly threat. He is a Fastigat. Fastigats can choose whether or not they want pregnancy. He has sandy colored hair. Lutha finds it impossible to convince Leelson that Leely is their child because he is in deniel. Leely is the four month old son of Leelson Famber and Lutha Tallstaff. Bernesohn Famber is Leelson great grandfather. He is a genius and a biochemist. He is one of the greatest Fastigats. Topsia is a Fastiga woman. She is a solo opera diva. Ularians are alien like creatures.
Shadow's End takes place on the planet Dinadh. Dinadh is one of twelve planets in the Hermes Sector. Leelson is lost on another planet in which nobody knows. The only known fact is that Leelson is somewhere in the Hermes Sector. Those are the key settings in my story.
The most important part of the plot is that Lutha is searching for the disappeared Leelson Famber. Leelson also happens to be her estranged lover and father of her child, Leely. For Lutha, finding Leelson is the last thing on mind to do. Leelson doesn't know about Leely. When Lutha finds Leelson, she explains Leely.
The one strength of my novel is that the surroundings were well described. The weakness is that the characters are poorly described. My opinion is that there are a lot better books in the world. I didn't really like my book. But hey, that's just my opinion and some may or may not agree.
