In the following essay I will be discussing my future plans for the next five to ten years. I will be outlining my five year action plan, my ten year action plan and potential obstacles that may put these plans in jeopardy. I will also outline possible solutions for any non-normative circumstances that may arise.
My plans for the next five years are outlined in the following paragraph. Within the next few months I plan on completing high school and getting my diploma. Following my completion of high school I will have hopefully been accepted to one of the colleges I"m applying to. During the summer I plan on working and making some extra money. Come September I will be starting college. If all goes well I will be taking Photography at Humber College. The photography course is a two year program, upon completion I will probably take a media course for another three years to earn a diploma. During my college years I hope to form strong relationships with new found friends and allow current relationships to get stronger then start planning for my future in the real world.
Following my successful completion of college the next ten years of my life will have to be well planned. If all goes well upon finishing college I will have been placed in a job that fits the training I will have gotten from my college experience. Also by this time I will have hopefully formed a strong relationship with a partner. At this time in my life I will have moved into my own house or apartment with a partner. After getting comfortable in my career and if I feel that I am financially stable I will think about marriage. By this time I should be in my early twenties and have a good starting foundation for the rest of my life. If marriage does happen, I feel that if my wife and I are both financially stable and secure in our careers that we can start talking about having children.
There are many possible barriers that could arise within the next five to ten years of my life.
