             Over two thirds of Americans are considered to be medically overweight. Many people go about their daily lives in pain, living off medications, and therapy. Dietary medications are expensive and can put a dent in your pocket. Some people even resort to surgery to solve their weight problem, when simple exercise would be sufficient. Exercise is one of the most intended yet neglected part of a daily routine. In fact the most common New Year's resolution is to get in shape, or join a gym yet are too commonly avoided. Without some kind of exercise your body becomes more susceptible to injury, disease, and unnecessary weight gain. Diet also plays a huge role in your body's functions. Feeding your face with all that fast food will only weaken your body and worsen your condition. Proper Diet and daily exercise can prove to lead Americans to a happier, healthier lifestyle.
             With the hectic lives of today's Americans it's hard to eat healthy all day long. Grabbing that hamburger is a lot quicker than making a salad for lunch. But you don't have to make such drastic changes, something as simple as increasing your intake of water, or wiping that dressing off your burger can do wonders. The more water you consume the more hydrated you are creating a better environment for all the reactions in your body, after all our body's are made of almost seventy percent water. Recently the onset of some diseases has been found to be brought on by poor diet. For years diabetes was thought to be strictly a pre-determined disease by birth but recently found, can be caused by diet also. Consuming too much sugar from processed foods such as ice cream can slow down your insulin production ultimately leading to diabetes. Medication for diabetes can cost a lot because the doses are often taken up to three times a day. So just by reducing the sugar intake you can lessen your risk of diabetes. Eating foods high in fat and cholesterol can clog arteries and decrease circulation leaving you feeling tired, tingling feeling in your limbs, and even sometimes pains which can distract you from the task at hand such as work.
