The Creation of the Universe: Design vs. the Bang

There are two dominant theories which provide different approaches for explaining the creation of the universe. The first states that there is a great Deity who has created the universe as an elaborate system. The second, and very different approach, states that the elaborate universe was created in a great explosion known as the Big Bang. I will first formulate an argument similar to that of Dr. William Lance Craig's argument for God as the great designer. That argument will be followed by a theory formulated from Dr. Douglas M. Jesseph's contention in support of the Big Bang Theory, which states that one does not need to believe in God to make sense of the universe. I will conclude by showing that it is indeed necessary for one to believe in God as the designer of the intricate system known as the universe.
The universe is a complex system which contains a solar system, gravity and molecular structures. My argument is taken from an idea by Dr. Craig and it states that it is not plausible to think that this universe, seemingly designed for the human species, popped into being, uncaused out of nothing. If there had been one mistake in the creation of the universe, humans would fail to exist. Take, for example, oxygen, water and the sun. All three are needed for humans to survive, without them, it would be impossible to exist. Yet, oddly enough, we find that this certain gas, form of liquid and special star are all properly placed in their needed positions. Circumstances such as these make it only reasonable to assume that there is an intelligent designer of the universe. Therefore, God must exist given that he is the simplest solution to our obscure problem of the creation of the universe.
In this case, one could dispute that my argument for God's existence is lackadaisical, in the sense that scientists have formulated other proofs for the existence of God. However, I will show that my proof is the only reasonable one that explains the creation of the universe, while their theories ultimately coincide with mine.
