She never let him know that she enjoyed his company so much or that she missed him every time he left her presence. She thought that spilling her feeling out to him would all be a waste of time. What Jane did not know was that Mr. Rochester felt the same about her. As time passed they talked and talked some more on numerous topics. Jane found herself waiting each day for Mr. Rochester to sent for her so that they could have their talks and spend some time together. Mr. Rochester leaves suddenly for a house party at a local estate. Jane is miserable during his absence and realizes that she has fallen deeply in love with him. Mr. Rochester returns with a party of guests including the beautiful Blanche Ingram. In a jealous state, Jane believes that Mr. Rochester is pursuing this accomplished, majestic, dark haired beauty. Jane left Thorfield for a month to attend to her aunt who was on her death bed. When Jane returned to Thornfield, the household guests had already left. Mr. Rochester seemed to have shown some concern for Jane being gone for so long. Shortly after Mr. Rochester told Jane that he was to be marrying Blanche. He told Jane that her and Adele would be leaving Thornfield. Right then, Jane reveals all of her feelings to Mr. Rochester, and because their feeling for each other were so similar, they were soon engaged. Two nights before the wedding, a frightening, dark haired women enters her room and rips her wedding veil in two. Jane was almost certain that it was Grace Pool. Grace Pool was one of the servants that lived on the third floor. That is what was told to Jane, she could never understand why Mr. Rochester would not just let her go. He would keep telling her that she had been with the family too long to just let her go because she had no one. .
             The mourning of the wedding had finally arrived. Jane and Rochester were at the alter, taking their vows, when suddenly a man announces there is an impediment to the marriage.
