The Secret Life of Boy

I strongly believe that boys and girls have different behaviors that are perpetuated in society. I believe this based on my observations of how boys change their behavior to express their emotion in their growth process. .
Although it is said in this movie that boys have already learned to keep their feelings and emotions inside by around age five, I did not see a major difference in behaviors between boys and girls when I was helping teach kindergarten classes. I saw many boys who would cry in the classroom only because they missed their mothers. Both boys and girls always came to me and wanted to sit next to me and give me hugs. However, when I visited them two years later I was very shocked to see that many boys behaved differently from when they were in kindergarten. Specifically, they were not excited about me anymore. Some boys just waved to me with a faint smile and other boys just run away from me. I was very confused by their behavior, but I soon figured out that they were just trying to repress their emotions. They learned different behaviors from society which contributed to a change in their behavior during the years that had passed. .
With regard to my own interaction with the boys, I noticed that I always told those who felt down or hurt that they should not cry because they were boys and boys should be stronger than girls. I treated boys differently than girls because I wanted to make them positive or strong. However, I believe that teachers should know that all children need a place where they can express their emotions and try to bring out the hidden feelings in boys. If they harbor their feeling and emotions inside, it often leads to boy's violent behavior or suicide, as was the case in this movie. Children sometimes behave differently in their families and schools. Teachers should observe children's actions carefully and attempt to understand where the children's actions are coming from based on their emotional state.
