The others that were raised in two parent household were happy and yes I was a little jealous because I wanted to experience that. My other friends were raised in single family homes, raised by grandparents, aunts and uncles and some were adopted. Some seemed happy and the others, I felt they were searching for something. Maybe it was what I was searching for and continue to search for to this day.
             According to Ugo Betti, "Family is the place where the most ridiculous and least respectable things in the world go on". I agree with him to some extent because with your family around, you can be and do anything you please. You can act in any way you please, and they will still love you. But not every family is like that. There are some families where there is no room for acting silly; you must do everything right and timely. I think in families like that, the pressure to be perfect is definitely on.
             I definitely agree with Ariel and Will Durant when they said, "The family is the nucleus of civilization". I believe this to be true because family .

             is the center of life, that special structure that tries to stay in tact when everything around is crashing down. Family guides you and should teach you the morals of life. Aren't you the least bit curious to know that if you were in another family would your life be like this? Since you already grew up and build your own views on life, you are ready to go out and share them with your own family. But no matter what happens in life you"re always going to turn right back around to that family you came from. That's why family is the center of civilization.
             Jane Howard said, "Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family, whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one". This I can say that I really and truly must agree. This quote is expressing to you the reasons why you need a family. Yes you may need to read between the lines but the answers are there.
