Comparison essay

Sopranos and Sex in the City.
Some people wonder why the world today is out of control. The influence of television is a great reason why. In today's society it is extremely difficult to turn on the television and watch a positive, meaningful program. Both the Sopranos and Sex in the City portray negative morals to viewers of all ages.
The Sopranos and Sex in the City have bad morals demonstrating lying, sex, and destructive violence. In the program the sopranos the husband Frank told a lie to he's wife Rita and he's children about he's working schedule and how he wouldn't be home until late night due to an important client. But he was really doing something he had no business doing. In the program Sex in the City the main character Sarah lied to her boyfriend about spending time with another man Rob. She told her boyfriend he was just a child hood friend and they had only met up for coffee. But in reality she was also doing something she had no business doing. As you can see already there's some pathological lying going on in this episode.
Also in The Sopranos and Sex in the City there's an abundance of sexual activities going on. In The Sopranos Frank the husband was telling all those lies to he's wife about he's working schedule because he was having an affair with this lady car dealer every night before going home. Likewise in Sex in the City Sarah told her boyfriend Tommy that Rob was a child hood friend, which was a lie? She just didn't want her boyfriend to find out that she was having sex with another man. In these two programs there's a continuous pattern of lying and sexual activities with different people.
Both the television shows the Sopranos and Sex in the City demonstrate destructive violence. In The Sopranos when Rita, Franks wife finds out about her husbands affair. She burns and bleaches all he's clothes and then goes to his job and busts every window out of his car with bricks.
