Moon Conspiracy

The mission plan of Apollo 11 was to land two men on the surface of the moon and then return in one piece back to Earth. The launch of Apollo 11 took place at Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39A on July 16, 1969, at 08:32 a.m. EST. The spacecraft, Columbia, held a crew of just three: Mission Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. The lunar module took off from the Moon on July 21st, and the astronauts returned to Earth on July 24th. After evaluating the mission, it was concluded that all tasks were completed satisfactorily.
Fast-forward a couple decades. Instead of basking in the glory that their own country was the very first to land on the moon, Americans (and people of other countries as well) are wondering: did we really land on the moon? In 2003, a survey by surveyspot.com showed that one in five Americans don't believe that there ever was a moon landing. Americans are very skeptic. Was it a hoax? .
I have evaluated four web sites related to Apollo 11's moon landing--or to be specific, whether or not Apollo 11 really went to the moon. These sites have been evaluated using some of the following criteria: 1. Is this site current? Has it been updated recently? 2. Does the author display his name and credentials? Does he have any credentials? 3.Is the information detailed? Does the author say where information is from? 4. Are links on this site reliable? Are the sites that are linked credible? 5. Is this site trying to sell a product or endorsed by someone who sells a product? 6. Does this site have typos? Does the information make sense? 7. Does this page provide contact information? .
In these web sites I have also evaluated how the authors of the text in these web sites pursue the readers by looking at the different types of persuasion used. The four web sites that I have evaluated fall on all sides of the credibility spectrum, and with the above criteria and the authors types of persuasion, I will give my views on the credibility of each site.
