You are taking the chance of being raped if you are a girl and go out with a person known to be of questionable character. .
You are taking the chance of becoming a rebellious person that can lead you into other damaging activities. .

As a Catholic these are some of many things that I have heard from school, my parents and from church over the years. Pope John Paul II said, "The person who does not decide to love forever will find it very difficult to really love for even one day." So we needed to ask ourselves the question to try to lead us to the answer. Lets start from the beginning. .
What does chastity mean? John Paul II explains that Chastity is sexual abstinence, the condition or practice of abstaining from sex relations on moral grounds. Chastity is a gift from God, for every person in every walk of life a powerful virtue that is a foundation for real intimacy, purity of mind and body (Diamond 11). Chastity is sexual goodness, sexual self-control never using another person for the sake of sexual gratification (West 66). Chastity is not always easy, but it is always possible with God's help. Sean Sammon explains that in our society celebrate Chastity has to do with a style of life wherein people choose not to be coupled.
