             Twelve years, the life of a child, abouting the right to marry. Twelve years of sweet love, tenderness, heartache, and traumas, can be erased in a single sweep. Mothers are no longer sage at home, children to explore for nurturing,. What kind of horror are we, the alliance of Scandinavia subjecting our young, our future existence to? .
             Grendel, the monster in question is a beast with a "brute existent", his soul has left him, he contradicts every aspect of human life, believing that it is a long series of accidents and life itself is one. .
             Grendel is simply not a killer, a monster who lived under the bed ot in a dark cave in the woods. He is much more. He is self destruction though others, an association of the devil; one banned from god, a convict of innocent murders and rape and he we are with in fingertips reach of his deathly grasp. .
             EXAMINE:.
             Unferth -Casey A half-hero. He attempts to kill Grendel and when he fails, he attempts to die honorably at Grendel's hands. Grendel amuses himself by denying Unferth the honor of martyrdom. Though he tries to prove otherwise, Unferth's heroism is a product of his fellow men. His ego cannot sustain, and so, when the other thanes scorn him for his consistent failures, Unferth loses his self-respect. .
