For as long as people existed, many tried to classify feelings as the right and wrong kinds of emotions. Hatred, jealousy and anger are often considered negative ones. Reasons are what we use to justify some of our emotions categorizing them under the group of rights and the other emotions as wrong or irrational feelings. Reasons enable the person to see pass the temporary mood. Emotion is temporary, reason is not, and it keeps us from overdosing on too much intense emotions. Emotions are learnt. Reasons are learnt or rather formed during the process of learning emotions, our attempt to better adapt, understand and analyze feelings. Emotional intelligence is also important in order to achieve success in any field. It's important for individuals to understand and effectively manage their emotional states. Emotional intelligence significantly increases an individual's competitive advantage and lets them perform at their best. Emotional intelligence is a different way of being smart. It is being able to manage distressing moods as well as control impulses. It is being motivated and remaining hopeful and optimistic when setbacks occur while working towards a goal. Emotions, some are basic instincts like those of animals while others are enhanced, unique and are bonuses to our survival. Our ability to reason makes us different then animals. To satisfy the diverse goals triggered by the various emotions, we use logic and intelligence to accomplish them. Therefore reasons rise. When hatred felt the person wants revenge. He either reasons himself out of committing violence, or he uses reasons to convince himself to support his emotions to plan revenge and to carry out the actions. .
