Effect of Regenerated Roots and Shoots

In the Plant Material subsection, it stated the source and conditioning of the plants used in the experiment. The Growth Conditions of Callus Cultures contains the information on how the cultures were prepared for the location of the experiment up to the collection of data when the plant stems where placed in the cultures. A process called High Pressure Liquid Chromatography was used in extracting the different compounds from the plants. The Extraction and Quantitation of Nicotine by HPLC stated the detailed extraction and quantitation by Water's Model 710 autoinjector. The Chemicals Section showed that different compounds were extracted from different corporations. The article format was clearly analyzed in such a way that the categories help in understanding the research itself.
The Results and Discussions became more scientific and specific. The first few paragraphs recall the method and data results of the experiment. It clearly stated the goal of the discussion in finding first the roles of the components of the plants namely the roots and the shoots. They have grown callus tissue on different concentrations of kinetin with indole acetic acid (IAA). The article clearly stated that the extracted nicotine from the root, shoot and callus tissue was spectacularly high when the callus rejuvenated roots. The rejuvenation of shoots in the rooted callus reduces the nicotine in the root and callus according to the article. And it tells that the increased in the nicotine content can be explained by the accumulation of the nicotine in the shoot and callus tissue caused by the rejuvenation of the roots in spite of the reduction of nicotine in the rejuvenation of shoots in the rooted callus. .
The article stated two possibilities of the interplay in the plants that result in that manner. The first explanation was there was transportation of the nicotine from the roots and callus tissue to the leaf in a unidirectional fashion while the nicotine in the roots and callus decreased.
