             Thousands of people will consume at least one caffeinated drink a day. Caffeinated drinks are not hard to find. Caffeine can be found almost in anything. Coffee beans, tea leaves, chocolate, and many soft drinks have caffeine in them. People don't realize that most of their average day drinks are caffeinated. Drinking caffeinated drinks can be harmful to a person's health. .
             Drinking one caffeinated drink won't hurt but drinking more then one caffeinated drink a day can cause a serious problem. People who drink a fair amount of caffeine may become dehydrated. Most people think they are drinking plenty of fluids to keep them replenished, but they"re not. Caffeine works against the body. Caffeine causes a person to urinate a lot. The urination drains all fluids from the body, leaving a person dehydrated, even if one feels fine.
             Caffeinated drinks are mostly made from artificial flavoring and water. The artificial flavor is usually sugar. Having too much sugar in the body can turn into a high intake of calories, as well as fat. Obesity can occur from the extra intake of calories and fat. Obesity is a major concern in America, today. Many young children are being diagnosed with obesity. Caffeinated drinks alone won't cause obesity, but it contributes to the problem. .
             Most people usually get headaches from stress or tension, but never from caffeine. Caffeine is very addictive. Caffeine may cause withdrawals such as anxiety. A person may also feel dizzy. Caffeine can cause headaches and jitters. Children who drink caffeine may become restless and even fidgety. Next time a headache approaches, remember it could be caused by caffeine.
             Calcium lose is the biggest side effect from caffeinated drinks. Caffeine leaches the calcium from the bones, which leaves the bones very fragile. Having fragile bones means they can break easily. Calcium lose can even cause osteoporosis, especially in women.
