The stress, the uncertainty, the agony, the heartache were all emotions provoked by the French Revolution.

What may have caused such an event? The French Revolution was an event that was bond to happen. The French had various problems going on. They had political, social, and financial. Slowly but surely France was falling apart.
In the 17th and 18th centuries, France was ruled by an absolute government, which meant the king had all power. The king during the French Revolution was Louis XIV. Louis XIV was a despot with no direction. Louis XIV didn't know the meaning of being a King. Louis XIV thought being a king meant hunting all day and living lavish. He was one of the mean reasons why France falls apart. Him and his wife Marie Antoinette didn't know how to be rulers; they were both weak. The king and his wife chose a wrong period of time to be weak. During this period the Enlightenment was going on. The Enlightenment is the reason why there was a French Revolution.
