Evolution vs Creationism

My roommate came in from anthropology class two weeks ago crying because she didn't know if she believed in God anymore. They had discussed Evolution that night and apparently had lots of proof that this theory is true. She wanted me to give her reasons why she should continue believing that God created man, which is Creationism, but I was stumped because the beauty of believing in God is that it's done by faith. .
That night I decided to get as much information on Creationism not only for my benefit, but for my roommates, as well as you, my classmates, so that you may have a better understanding of this highly confusing issue. In doing so, I will share some basic, but very important facts that I found supporting creationism.
Many scientists now suggest that chimpanzees and humans have a common ancestor. The population of that common ancestor were separated from each other, and evolved into different species, over time, through natural selection. This doesn't make much sense due to the fact that humans are a much more advanced species. Chimps intelligence level is relatively retarded, so how could evolution explain the advancements of humans? I will now go through several major differences between chimpanzees and humans. .
Human DNA is 98.7 % identical to that of chimps, but chimps have 10% less DNA than humans. How do you make sense of this? They have more specific genes, more Rh bloodgroup genes, and fewer Alu repeats, in their genome than humans. Alu repeats is when DNA sequence repeats itself. Also the tips of their chromosomes contain DNA not present at the tips of human's chromosomes. Human DNA is about 75% similar to a nematode, which a small worm, but no one has suggested that a nematode is 75% human. In the 60's, doctors tried to use Chimp organs for human transplants, but in every case the organs were totally unsuitable. .
In humans, the white part of the eye makes it easy to distinguish which direction someone is looking.
