I wish to grow using the opportunities I have in life. Growing in wisdom, courage, and knowledge, I want to become stronger spiritually and mentally. I wish to gain wisdom and look at life from many different perspectives. I want to be more courageous, risking ridicule or sometimes going against the crowd. I also wish to gain in knowledge, keeping myself informed about life and its workings. Completing my life's goals, I would like to gain wisdom, courage, and knowledge.
I habitually look at life from my on point of view and discard the thoughts of others. This can be very frustrating when people don't see things my way. For example, in eighth grade my group was assigned to tell about the life of Hitler. I proposed that we do a dating show and have contestants answer questions about Hitler's life. People quickly discarded the idea and decided on a movie. At the last minute the movie didn't work, so we used my plan. I want to grow in wisdom and consider the thoughts of others to grow in knowledge and courage. I need to have a spiritual mind and keep my faith to achieve this goal just as Jesus did. Using wisdom I would like to make better choices and decisions. Wisdom will also give me strength to help others.
I am frequently behaving wrongly and unjust when am being ridiculed. Having no courage to stand up for what I believe in, I squirmier when being mocked. For example, I tend to act silly and hyper more than others. My friend Kayla for example isn't my friend anymore because she says she hates my "happy" personality. For awhile I tend to change, but soon realized that wasn't possible or necessary. I know that Jesus would have never acted this way and never try and change for other people and therefore I should become more courageous to follow one of our greatest role models. I want to stand up to the crowd and go against it when necessary. Courage will help me keep my faith strong and beliefs strong.
