Marijuana has also been found as a reason for increase in sexuality. Research shows that marijuana produces heightened sexual interest, desire and arousal in a substantial amount of both male and female users. In a study of regular marijuana users conducted by three unanimous physicians, heightened sexual feelings and increased sexual arousal while under the influence of the drug were reportedly experienced. About 59% of the subjects experienced each of these effects. In another more recent study by physicians, increased sexual appetite was reported by 60% of the chronic users and 43% of the occasional users of marijuana. Recently professor Goode published the results of an informal survey of about 200 marijuana users in which he acquired about the relationship of marijuana to both sexual desire and sexual activity. To the question "Do you think that being high on marijuana stimulates your sexual interest, or not?" 38% said that their interest in sex while high was no different in degree from their normal interest in sex. 5% stated that being high on marijuana has a negative effect, in example, it turned them off sexually. 13% replied that the effect depended on either their mood, their partner or both, and 44% reported that it definitely increased there sexual desire. Although drugs and alcohol are a big factor in the increase in sexuality, the old phrase,"It all starts at home." sums up another big factor.
In fact, in today's society there are more parents raising there children without sturdy morals that should stand as the center point of their lives. Without strong morals, children have fewer inhibitions and are more likely to engage in sexual activity than a child that has been raised with a sturdy background. Due to the many recurring instances of children raising children, it is no wonder that teens are lacking these common morals. A persons morality is built up over time, and is also an ever changing combination.
