An Operator's Performance Report (OPR) contains significant data that can be used to determine the overall efficiency of equipment (OEE). This would aide in identifying machines that need more improvement and in what aspects the improvement is most needed. Presently, an OPR is filled-up in sheet/s of paper and contains report for a whole shift. In this manner, an operator spends a larger fraction of his cycle time attending to paperwork that further contributes to operator downtime. Moreover, the data that are gathered from the existing system may be inaccurate and inadequate. As a result, the OEE is affected and may also be erroneous. .
This paper will discuss how the OPR Database System could eliminate inaccuracy, decrease the time spent on doing paperwork, and implement a faster retrieval of data. Furthermore, significant figures could also be generated instantly through the system.
Through the use of the computerized system, reports can now be processed much faster and with minimal errors. Data will also be kept safe and will consume very little physical storage space compared with that of the compiled OPR forms.
The bottom line is to make a program that can lessen the working hour and make the job easier to the user and to the company. .
Financial Report System one of my project done in Cypress Manufacturing Limited. This system generates a report fromoracle to MS Excel by using Visual Basic program. From oracle saved it in text files and it was link in MS ACCESS. The program generate a report from database to view it in excel format. Through the Financial Report System, cycle time is reduced. The burden of going through repetitive tasks and error-prone activities is eliminated.
