Even though this is a simple and black and white drawing, it impacted me a lot. This image shows how all the Greek Gods would get together and protect each other. It looks like it is a very powerful circle of Greek Gods. This is a linear drawing and each one of the characters is identified with an object. For example, Zeus would have a thunderbolt in his hand, and Apollo would have a musical instrument, and so on.
This is the Greek God named Apollo. According to Greek mythology, the god of prophesy, music and healing. I noticed that he has a rather egocentric expression. According to the lessons in class, Greek Gods portray perfection. The defined bodies and modest attitude affirms security and power. As god of music, Apollo is often depicted playing the lyre. He won several musical contests by playing this instrument. .

Pregnant Woman with Ice Cream by Risto.
This image is a celebration of pregnant women. I picked this image because it is clearly an unusual one. I know that you would have expected me to show a virgin with a child. This image is decorated with geometric forms and contrasting colors that make it so interesting. The ancient women or characters are not the only ones who celebrate reproduction. Nowadays, modern women show their bodies and bellies as an act of pride for being able to reproduce or to give life to another being. .

Photograph of Dronfield Baptist Church in England.
This image capturates the welcoming of people to churches. In one of our lessons in class, we compared places of worship to nature and we said that they had a lot in common. Also, the shapes are always related to geometry. No matter how small and insignificant the church is in the inside, people would go to proclaim their faith.
