Invention

The way that we will produce this product is by using the factors of production. We need people, like factory workers, to produce the showerhead. We also need capital. An example of this would be fragrances. We are going to have many different fragrances of the soap that connects to the showerhead. In order for this to succeed, we will also need financial capital to pay for buying the capital goods used in production.
The product is going to be advertised on the radio and in television commercials. Our goal is to target anyone of an adult age, preferably people who own a home or live in an apartment. People can buy this product in any department store. The price will be about $25.00 at first for the showerhead and soap. When the soap runs out, the refills, which will also be sold where you buy the showerhead, will be sold for around $5.00.
The name of our product is "So Fresh -n- So Clean". The reason why we chose this name is because it is very catchy to remember and it refers to a shower. The feeling you get from a shower is being very fresh and clean. We are also using the song by Outkast called "So Fresh And So Clean" to advertise for our product. That is our slogan.
The only choice that consumers will really be faced with is if they want the ease of a shower. It is more of a convenient thing. If it is convenient for them, then it is a great thing to have. Sometimes people feel lazy, like if they just woke up in the morning, or if they just got home from work. This would influence people's decisions on buying this product. Their maintenance capabilities may also be a concern. We have made the product as easy as possible to install, but it does have to be installed by someone.
The consumers" opportunity cost will be the money spent on this product rather than buying a bar of soap or body wash for a cheaper price at a convenient store. We will make the price approximately the same price as most soaps, so to justify this is not a challenge.
