Free Excercise Clause of the Constitution

They are taught by their leaders that Afro-Americans form an inferior race. .
This raises an interesting question: when in history should the Federal Government step in and protect the rights of others who may not share their religious views? The rights of children whose parents follow Faith Healing must be considered. These children know no better way than what their parents have taught them. It is up to the Federal Government to once again step in and draw the line between freedom of religion, and freedom to do whatever one chooses, based on religious beliefs.
Although the above statement mentions that children know no better than what the parents have taught, this is not to say that the government does. It is simply the responsibility of the govt. to protect the interests of its citizens. The word "better" has been argued. Instead, let me say, "The children know no more efficient way (to heal) than what their parents have shown them." The numbers will prove that Faith Healing has not shown to be the most "efficient" of practices. Compared to the expected survival rate if the children had received routine medical care, out of 172 dead children in a study of 23 different religious groups: 3 would have not benefited from medical care, 11 children would have benefited, but to an unsure degree, 18 children would have had a 50 to 90% chance of survival, and 140 children would have had a 90 to 100% chance of surviving. Why should something that is considered in law enforcement and general society to be a moral wrong, like intentional abuse, neglect, and homicide, be a civil right?.
