The people of the Key West are dreamers, stylish ones, and descendents of variety of cultures.
             Charleston, South Carolina, was next on his list in the month of March. Beautiful scenery with blooming nature filled with spring's life, mocking birds and fields of flowers where ever he goes is what caught his attention. He described the people as nice, genteel, arrogant, polite and elegant. He spent his time admiring the beauty of that piece of earth with all its well organized beautiful mansions, houses and gardens and niceties. .
             May, as planned, is the month where he went to Grandfather Mountain North Carolina. It is, as he described, mountainous, windy and foggy all the time. He enjoyed the cold breeze of the mountains with their loneliness and beautiful view as he expressed that you can view the whole earth beneath you standing on top of the mountain on a clear sunny day. On the other hand, the people of that place have respect for the elderly and are known as storytellers. .
             June, known in Alaska as the driest month, was more than rainy to Charles. He spent his month there observing the sea with all the tides and sea-life and also the dazzling rain forests, mountain lakes, waterfalls and glaciers. In his trip there, he went whale watching where he was to take few pictures of biggest creatures ever lived, the blue whales, but he was so stunned with the scene that he did not take one picture. The people there are mostly natives whom he did not understand but, as he described, very nice and kind people who spent their time fishing and admiring nature and all its gifts.
             Clear blue skies, clear blue water and unspoiled natural beauty as far as the eye can see with its museums, restaurants wildlife and wilderness and array of attractions, Ely was nest on Kuralt's list. He spent a month there visiting a different lake everyday. People in Minnesota don't smoke, they care more about their looks and health, and they don't even sell fatty foods.
