Over the years that Wal-Mart has been open it has gone from a General Store to a Super Store. You can now buy groceries, clothes, get your hair done and your film developed among other basic needs. Recently Wal-Mart introduced a program that made it able to rent DVDs at their stores. The plan cost 15.54 for a month and allows you to rent unlimited DVDs for the entire month. Customers can sign up for the rental service on the internet and will never have to pay late fees. Wal-Mart allows you to rent 13 times more then the average local rental store. I think this is a wonderful idea because people go to Wal-Mart for every thing and it makes it so they don't have to waste as much gas going from store to store. And it makes pollution less for the environment. I don't personally agree with Wal-mart because I think it makes it harder for small businesses to get by in this world. If Wal-mart keeps adding different kinds of businesses to the store then they will put more and more smaller companies out of business. I have seen the effect of Wal-mart firstt hand, my parents own a small outdoor sporting goods store in . I've had people come into their store while I was working and tell me that they could get preety much the same fishing stuff at Wal-mart for way cheaper prices then the prices my parents offered. My parents are the type of mom and pop store that will take back anything rather its been 30 days or 30 years they will give you a full refund, unlike Wal-marts 30 day return policy. I enjoy Wal-mart for their low prices and that I only have to go one place to get everything I need for a low price. If it's up to me though and I have the time to go to other places I"d rather be at a local grocery store then Wal-mart any day. .
