They both traveled to south California where the photo session was going to take place. After still photo session she became really popular in the modeling world and in less than a year she was on the cover of 33 magazines. Her marriage with Jim failed and she was having an affair with Andre de Dienes. Norma had other affairs during her marriage, but it is not sure how many exactly she had. On 1946 Norma filed the divorce. A month after Norma turned 21 years old, she was interviewed by a director Ben Lyon at the 20th Century Fox. On August 26, 1946 was her first screening test. Marilyn Monroe dream was determined to become a star. In between 1947 and 1948 Marilyn was working as a call girl and an actress in stag films to make more money, but she became worried that it was going to ruin her reputation. On March 1952 Joe and Marilyn first met when a friend arranged for them to meet on a dinner date. In January 14, 1954 Marilyn and Joe got married in a civil ceremony at the San Francisco City Hall. They spent their wedding night at the Clifton Motel in Paso Robles, California and for their honeymooned they went to Japan and Korea. Marilyn and Joe officially separated on October 5, 1954 because of their careers. .
             Marilyn's last marriage was with Arthur Miller. Marilyn and Arthur met in 1951 on the set of As Young as You Feel. Marilyn and Arthur got married in White Plains, New York, on June 29, 1956, by the City Court Judge Seymour Robinowitz in the office of attorney Sam Slavitt. Marilyn wore a beige wedding dress and a few days later, on July 1, 1956 they had a Jewish wedding ceremony at the home of Kay Brown, Miller's agent. During this marriage Marilyn had two miscarriages. They later announced their separation on November 11, 1960. On January 20, 1961 Marilyn and Arthur were divorced in Mexico. In December 1950, Marilyn was having an affair with Hyde, but he died of heart disease. Marilyn was so upset about his death that she deiced to try to commit suicide by taking sleeping pill.
