Premarital Sex

Intimacy between two people is shown through the remarkable activity of sex. Two people being able to show how much they care about each other without using words is an experience everyone should be able to experience sometime in their life. The way a man and women can connect is unbelievable and that goes to show how important an activity such as this is and should only take part under the right conditions. .
There is only one condition when sex is right. This condition is when it is inside marriage; outside the boundaries of marriage it is wrong and shouldn't take place. It has many consequences that could affect the rest of ones life. Consequences such as getting infected with a STD may happen. According to a recent study by the National Institute of Child Development and Human Development 33,000 Americans contract an STD every day and 2.5 million teens have an STD. About 63 % of STD's occurs among people under age 25 and around 100,000 women are made sterile by gonorrhea in the U.S. every year. Just think how many of those cases could have been prevented if they made the right decision and didn't sleep with other individuals before marriage. The risk of contrasting an STD is greater if you have more than one sexual partner and that usually only happens if your not married. Teenagers are not typically at the age to marry so they are more likely to be the ones with multiple sex partners. The peer pressure that they face is so remarkable so they feel they need and have to have sex to fit in or make them feel better about themselves. .
Another reason that premarital sex should not take place is because of the risk of having an unwanted pregnancy. With becoming pregnant then one has to choose to have the child, give the baby up for adoption, or take away the babies life by abortion. They also have to face the reality they may be a single parent and loose all the chances and dreams they once had.
