One day while me and my friend Chris were walking on the campus of Alabama A&M University we hear a commotion coming from the middle of the quad. The quad is a block in the middle of campus created as a hangout spot for students. I turn to Chris and ask "you know what's going on?" Chris loves to get smart so his reply was "how do I know; I been following you all day." After a few minutes of debating we decide to see what the commotion was all about. After pushing my way to the front of the crowd I find two of my friends in a confrontation. Immediately I regret the need for me to be nosey. Quickly Tray, one of my friends, notices me and I'm dragged into the confrontation. By me being both of their friends, I say, "I'm not choosing a side, you guys handle it." I try to leave but the confrontation just keeps building and its starting to make me angry. I don't want to explode on either of my friends but they keep trying to involve me. .
Chris then notices me getting angry and tries to help me leave. As soon as I get to the outside of the circle I hear "slam him Tray" and I know things got physical. Even though I told them handle it on their own, I couldn't let them fight, the fight was unfair. So I made my way back to the center of the circle and yelled to the top of my lungs "STOP." While everyone was looking at me, my eyes only saw them. They knew that I was now angry and anything was liable to happen. .
All of my friends and people I come in contact with know that I am a neutral person. But this confrontation made me explode on both of my friends. I began to explain how short life is as I do all the time. And how petty the issue was to begin with. No matter the situation, we have remained friends for years. We built a brotherhood among a group of college students. Of course I remain friends with the both of them, even though they are no longer friend.
