Another reason why abortion is beneficial to women is that abortion gives women the option to terminate a fetus with severe abnormalities. No woman should be forced to carry a child against her will. Not only will she be bringing an unwanted child into the world, but she may also resort to unsafe, illegal abortions in a desperate attempt to make a decision concerning her body.
