This includes teachers training students on the technology used and providing a clear purpose for using the technology in the first place. Researchers found that technology is an important aspect for creating new stimulating learning environments for students which depend on these following factors: .
• Lower student to computer ratio.
• The teachers knowledge of technology being used.
• Proper planning .
• Quality technical support .
Often times, these key factors are missing in schools as they attempt to implement technology, resulting in less than expected improvement of students' learning environments. Sometimes schools make large technological purchases for classrooms but tend to ignore the fact that the teachers need proper training. Other times resources are wasted as teachers get the training needed but then are assigned a classroom with little to no access for the students. This begins to question the benefits of technology in schools, therefore a series of questions arise which are as follows: .
• To what extent will technology impact student achievement of those who participated in a computer literate classroom be improved? .
• To what extent will the learning motivations of students who participated in a computer literate classroom be improved? .
• To what extent will the learning performance of students who participated in a computer literate classroom be improved upon?.
Personal View.
I would be led to believe that students' levels of achievements would have a positive correlation in relation to introducing computers into the classroom. Computers introduced into the classroom will also increase students' motivations due to being a new and more interactive way of learning versus the traditional classroom style of teaching. I also would have to believe that the ability to learn while using a computer during school would lead to overall enhancement of students' learning abilities.
