Narrative Essay - The Epic

After the blond hair blue eyed princess asked what floor I was going to I just smiled at her with my dry nervous lips and replied with an uneven shaky tone "yeaahh". She looked at me like I was half retarded and wouldn't be able to tie my own shoe. After a moment of awkward silence I coughed as I finally realized what she had said and I replied with a faked confidence that made her smile, "main floor". When the elevator door opened and she left me to roam the thick population of loud grinning tourists I stood red faced and smiling towards the direction she had vanished. Nearly passing out, I forgot what I was doing and what I was excited to explore, nothing on this ship seemed important except the girl I had just watched confidently dance into the jungle of uninteresting faces. Grinning with renewed confidence and excitement, I had just found the answer to all my questions and desires, the golden headed blues eyed princess.
After a couple of days aboard the epic I had already made two interesting friends who were of the same age as me and shared many of my interests including the girl I had met in the elevator, I honestly wasn't very happy about that particular interest that we shared. When they had both mentioned her I pretended to be unaware of whom she was and locked my feelings in a vault contained deep within my mind. While shooting some hoops on the basketball court I befriended Henrik, a tall blond haired sweetish boy who I immediately began to like as we both had a passion for fitness. Two days after me and Henrik met, we decided to cool off in the pool from our sweaty basketball match and that's where I met my friend Marc, he was a rather short boy with black hair and a cool Italian accent. They were both good looking so I couldn't help but view them as competition. Among my friends I became known as the Canadian. The days went by quicker than I had expected and I only had three more days to work up the courage to find the girl from the elevator.
