The other countries that Thailand was exported the chinaware were Java, Malay and Philippines.
             Trading.
             The system of trading in Sukhothai period was a free-market. It means there was no any tax for trading anything. King Ramkamheang supported that every people can exchanged any goods, animals or anything without keeping taxation. This made every people in Sukhothai period felt happy with their life that trading was part of them. In Sukhothai period divided part of trading into two parts. The first part was about trading in our country and the second part was trading with the other countries.
             • Trading in country: Because of the people were lived along the river, there can trading on land and waterway. For the trading on land, they can walked to the shop that people in each villages were set up link to the other villages near the capital of Sukhothai. For the trading via the waterway, it means that people was traveled along the river for trading with the other provinces, because Sukhothai had the important waterway such as Yom river, Ping river, and Naan river that connected to the other provinces. So, it was very easy to contact with the others and can expanded their products to the other provinces easily by travelling through the waterway. Although they had two ways of trading but, trading on land was very convenient for them, because they can walked or riding horse through the important roads called "Phra-Ruang Road.".
             • Trading with the other country: There were many countries that Thailand was trading to such as China, Japan, Malay, Java, Philippines, India, Lanka, Iran, Borneo and other Arab countries. They also traded via used the two ways as trading in the country but, they divided the directions on land to three ways. There were Sukhothai – Martaban, Sukhothai – Tenasserim, and Sukhothai – Chiang Mai. And for trading by travelling along the river, there were many waterways such as Chao Phraya River, Pasak River, and Mae-Klong River.
