It took place on large sets backed by large LED displays. The most common complex tool used in the creation of the video for "Speed of Sound" is the use of cut. Cut is a complex transition where there is an instant change from one shot to another. Though the least evident, this technique is the most common method used. .
In Coldplay's music video several cuts are made throughout the video. Most are in quick succession, showing each member of the band playing the different instruments in the creation of the song. In the video at 0:50 a transition is made by increasingly faster cuts before stopping at one scene at 1:35. Throughout this period cuts are made at a vigorous pace which suits the pace of the song. Clarity" by Zedd is shot in four different locations. The first location is in the Sand Dunes, which then moves into caves, then onto Los Angeles and finally in the studio with green screens. A number of techniques were used to create the music video. The first was Motion Control. Motion control is when the camera is placed on a motorised track and follows the same motion each time the actor shoots a scene. Motion control is used together with timecode to achieve the effects specifically in synchronization to sound. Triggering to audio or video timecode allows the normal uses of motion control to be incorporated into music promo productions. This makes it simple to create and join film footage to audio. In Zedd's music video the motion control camera was placed on the sand dunes and moved side to side. It was made to repeat the same move again at least twice all synchronized to music so that by the end of compositing it looked like they shot in two different locations in the sand dunes. .

Assessment Task Two.
Both songs, 'Speed of sound' and 'Clarity' by Coldplay and Zedd respectively would be produced in both CD's and be available to be downloaded through the internet for a small price.
