Workers in many Different Segments undergo and Endure working in poor or unhealthy sanitary conditions which is also considered a form of exploitation. Domestic workers are trapped in an endless cycle of forced Bondage.
Low wages, unsafe work conditions, coercive recruitment, whimsical firings and many other factors contribute to a form of forced labors.
This exploitation is practiced by financial institutions as well as by domestic Employers who force poor workers to undergo such ill treatments.
Academically speaking, ignorance and illiteracy is a huge problem among the forced labored workers. Some of them cant even write basic English alphabet let alone understand complex mathematical/scientific concepts. The level of education among these workers is so low that one simply can not fathom.and the available means to help them educate remains slim.
Among the human rights circles, the term that is thrown about is the concept of "Self Ownership "Which is the right that each individual not only own their physical bodies but also Their Talents and labour as well. This is seen as a basic understanding of what human right is and it is up to the individual to realize his/her importance in this regard.
Unfortunately, for many workers they are unaware of this fact and remain clueless about their rights and how they can protect it. They have or don't know the right channels to complain and release their frustration in the work places as such action is frowned upon in the managerial level.
This also facilitates the misuse by Organizations, companies and individuals who practice and endorse forced labor/exploitation of workers. Thus, the Maltreatment of Workers progress with time and full knowledge of the Elites.
The term forced labor has been defined by the human right convention as "All the work or service which is extracted from any person under the menace of any penalty and for which the said person has not offered himself/Her self voluntarily".
