Restaurant Business and Marketing Strategy

Creating a marketing strategy for our business, helps with the sales, and reputation. Satisfying our targeted costumers is the main focus of our restaurant's marketing strategy. We want our costumers to know what we sell, what our values are, and how we are different from our competitors. By researching the demographics of Myrtle Beach, we were able to strategize a beneficial marketing plan for our products, prices, distribution, and promotion. Conducting a successful marketing strategy for our business will satisfy the tourists and locals of Myrtle Beach, and benefitting our profits in the process. .
After researching, we found that Myrtle Beach is a popular vacation area, and includes a large amount of retirees. Due to this, our target market consists of the locals and tourists in the Myrtle Beach area. We also found that the needs of our costumers must be met, and we will do this by making our restaurant convenient to them. For example, we are going to create an app for our customers to order food, and we will serve it to them as they sit on the beach. Our main focus on demographics are targeted to costumers who are looking for a quick meal, that is also affordable and tasty. This distribution will allow costumers to enjoy the amazing boardwalk and beach sights. Our restaurant is located on the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach. The tourists that visit Myrtle Beach in the summer, will positively impact our restaurant as Myrtle Beach is one of the most popular vacation and resort areas. .
The estimated size of the market is 20,000 (including tourists and locals). 30-40 percent of the population is obtainable. Our competitors include the restaurants surrounding us on the boardwalk, and the strip. With a population of 30,000 people in Myrtle Beach, and constant tourists, it is fair to assume that 30-40 percent of the population will be obtained, due to our revolutionary ideas and great service.
