Breast Cancer Intervention Program

 


             Individual health theory will be used in the breast cancer intervention program. The program will handle individual selected women in the program.
             Goal of Intervention.
             The overall goal of the breast cancer intervention program is to reduce breast cancer new invasion cases among teenage women. Breast cancer risk increases with the age of a woman. Early intervention will save millions of new born women their lives and cost of high medication. The risk of breast cancer is not the same for all women in all ages. The goal of the intervention is to look at the causes of breast cancer beyond genetic alterations, mammographic breast cancer, family history, alcoholism and personal history of breast cancer.it is sole target of the intervention to reduce new cases of breast cancer intervention among teenage women. The intervention aims enhancing relationship between patients and caregivers especially for post-traumatic stress symptoms. The program will also reduce anxiety related to cancer. Family members need to cope with patients suffering with breast cancer. Loneliness and negligence will only serve to compound the cancer problem (Lauster, 2010). .
             Proposed Intervention.
             The best intervention for breast cancer is the idea of screening. Screening is a cancer control intervention program and it is possible as there is access to research related materials. The chief purpose of screening is to identity likely targets for the program and creates awareness for early intervention. Screening of women for breast cancer can be possible through established cancer centers. The intervention will target creation of awareness among young women to do early screening and not to be carried away with the notion that breast cancer is for elderly women. Alcoholism is among the causes of breast cancer. Teenagers do engage in alcoholism at early ages. The intervention seeks to create awareness that irresponsible and excessive drinking of alcohol will cause breast cancer.
