The Impact of Immigration on America

What do birds do when the weather begins to turn cold? They fly to another country where the weather is warmer. This move from one place to another is called migration. The birds migrate to a better climate. The same thing happens with immigrants. They move from one place to another for a safer, more reliable environment. But the US today is arguing whether immigration would be good for us or not. Some think that immigration will make us more money, whole others think that immigrants will take our money rather than make it for us and give us a bad name. Well, Immigration is good for the U.S because it supports our natural rights, it gives us a boost in the economy, and it even allows us to be a more diverse country. It is important to think about how immigration can positively affect our growing nation as we begin to stand out from other nations as well. .
             Thesis.
To begin with, immigration promotes our natural rights because it enables "pursuit of happiness", as there are a lot of immigrants who get many different jobs in the U.S. Also, immigration boosts our economy because there are more jobs out there, and more taxpayers to pay money to the government. And finally, immigration has allowed us to be more culturally diverse because most of the population of our country are composed of immigrants from different countries. .
             Body Paragraph .
First of all, immigration promotes our natural right to the "pursuit of happiness" because there are lots of immigrants coming into the US seeking job opportunities that we offer in the US. In fact, according to the Huffington Post, "Despite being hit particularly hard by the recession, immigrants are experiencing faster job growth than native-born Americans in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee, according to reports." This means that immigrants that came to the US seeking job opportunity actually get jobs faster and more effectively.
