Decomposition Lab Report

Each week I based my observation according to the first week, I studied how each of the organic materials made physical and chemical changes and what was going on the outside of the chamber. The biggest thing I got out of this experiment was that with time anything can change. .
Throughout the ten weeks of observations I made, there were many physical and chemical changes that occurred. Week by week, all of the organic material started to change. In the first couple of weeks is when the majority of the physical changes took place. After, the majority of the changes were made in the first couple of weeks, the chamber stayed the same except for a few small changes here and there. All the changes that occurred didn't happen overnight, they progressively changed as the weeks went on. When the experiment was finished, we observed our previous observations from weeks past and compared them to one another. The biggest observation I had was that we couldn't find the apple when we tried finding it, and that there were many more bugs that I had hoped to find. The last week of our observations was very interesting due to the fact I forgot about previous weeks and what transpired, so looking at my previous observations was mind blowing to us. .
In the start of week one my observations mostly stayed the same, but a couple organic materials began to change its physical state. Both of the paper and leafs had begun to turn slightly brown and yellowish in some sports. Also, the compost that originally started at the top of chamber had quickly moved all around. In week two, all of the organic material dramatically changed its physical manner. The apple had started to mold, but the cliff bar had stayed the same. In week three, all of the organic material for the most part stayed the same, except I had two new observations. My first new observation was that my chamber was now a host for bugs. My second new observation was that my chamber had begun to look a little damp.
