Tragedy of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company

This scene grips your attention because in the documentary it is said that this one women's sister was engulfed by the fire while she escaped down the elevator shaft. After leading to these women talking about their last efforts of escaping while their hair was on fire and screams of screeching pain were in the background. After the previous scene it goes on to say how the women jumped out of windows into these firemen's nets while they were on fire and the men couldn't catch them due to the distance of the jump. After they landed the men had to hose the women off because they were burning lifeless right next to the building. While this might be a documentary it provides the viewer with constant enjoyment due to well worded scenes and visuals. .
While the documentary provided some quality scenes that provide entertainment purpose there are still scenes that keep telling you something new. A scene that is noteworthy is the foreman scene where he walks around while the girls worked and made sure that they wouldn't stop. He wouldn't allow them to stop even if they needed to use the restroom or drink some water. He is pictured in the documentary almost as a prison guard to these workers. These girls were so afraid of the foreman that they wouldn't stop working even if they got a needle straight throw the finger. Then when they were done the foreman had to check the workers bags because the company couldn't risk them stealing. Another noteworthy scene is when Anne Morgan is introduced the documentary begins to get uplifted. This is important because her name changed around the events that were happening during this. She was a daughter of a brilliant financial man J Pierpont Morgan. Anne Morgan's support of the girls changed everything for the good of these girls. She was a figure head that was well respected, and wasn't going to be challenged by most. She came into the striking during the perfect time to help save/ rejuvenate the strikers to keep on going.
