This circumstance forces you to stay in a neighborhood full of crime and gangs, and they only way for you to survive and stay alive is to join the people that put you in the horrid situation you are in. How could the situation you are in be any worse? How can you get out of the ghetto with no money? You made a few mistakes in your life, one of which was deciding not to attend college. That decision kept you from many higher end job opportunities. So, only minimum wage, and hard labor job opportunities are available to you. This puts you in the same job outlook in which a lot of illegal and illiterate immigrants are in. The immigrants are known to work harder, work for less, and produce more than you. Is this perception true? Maybe the perception is just a stereotype. Nevertheless, this stereotype is keeping you from getting jobs that illegal immigrants are taking from you. The same people that you fear to harm you in your own home are also taking your job opportunities that would lead you out of hellhole you are in. The illegal immigrants are taking your jobs because they are working for less than what you are able to work for. They work for below minimum wage, and their money does not have to be taxed by the government. They are taking your money, and then typically go back to Mexico with it and give it to their friends or family. How does that make you feel? Illegal Immigration is becoming more and more of a problem with each passing second. The amount of illegal immigrants in the United States is at an all-time high.

Measures have been taken to help reduce the problem, but we need something more drastic to insure American security. Illegal immigrants hurt our nation in many ways.
