            Have you ever thought about how dependent you are on technology? Have you ever imagined living in a world without internet? Nowadays, the world of technology is expanding each day and the results of that expansion is the incessant the number of users which is bringing a lot of updates and benefits that are making our lives easier. On the other hand, our society has become so dependent on technology to a point that we feel disabled when we do not have it. People, especially teenagers, have spent a lot of time connected on the internet. Most of the times they are using social network websites to communicate with their friends and relatives. Additionally, the technology is helping them to have an easy access to more information about all kind of subjects. According to Amy Goldwasser in her article "What's the Matter with Kids Today?" (18). She says that "the average teen choses to spend an average of 16.7 hours a week reading and writing online." To her, today, writing and reading online has become an enjoyable process because for teenagers, the internet became part of their social lives. Moreover, the internet allow people to search for what they want to learn and it is making the learning process easier and more enjoyable. However, the effects of an excessive use of internet, especially on social networks web sites, can directly affect their productivity and decrease their privacy. .
             The access to the internet is bring to our society a fantastic way of learning. The access to new information has become easy, fast, and effective. Many sources are available online offering all kind of content that are helping, especially students, to develop their skills at schools helping them to achieve the knowledge sought. Different than twenty years ago, the process to make research became more accurate. Online newspaper, interactive libraries, e-books, and database such as CQ Reseacher, are making the process of learning more enjoyable.
