Hard Work, Honesty and Success

Diligence is the trait of never giving up. In my opinion, to have a successful marriage, partners should have a good understanding of each other to maintain a healthy relationship; this does not come easily, but it requires effort. The divorce rates are on the higher side in our dispensation either because people are not putting enough work into the courtship process or are not continuing to work after marriage. Marriage is a school from where no one ever graduates, and to remain in that institution, one has to work hard continuously. To work steadily in order to sustain our accomplishments, we have to be self-disciplined. Eric Baker presents in his article, "Science Points to the Single Most Valuable Personality Trait," that conscientious people "get better grades and stay married longer." A diligent and self-disciplined person can never miss the opportunity to succeed continuously because these traits will always breed success. .
Furthermore, accomplishing a dream career can also be considered as a factor for a successful life. After all the rigorous activities in college, doing a job that does not benefit the graduate's certificate can be disheartening. Be that as it may, many undergraduates have challenges in choosing the right career. The majority of students follow their friends' footstep or go with their parents' decisions, and these students refuse to analyze their strengths or weaknesses before choosing a course. Therefore, making the right decision about a career is very important. One should always stop to ask the question, "Am I choosing this career for financial gain or do I have a strong passion for it?" The Economist in their article, "Is College Worth it," disapproves of some professions because they do not bring immediate financial gain by stating that "arts and humanities courses are much more varied, all doubles nourish the soul, but not all fatten the pocket," but they refuse to acknowledge that most people in the humanities and arts are not in that profession because of the fat pocket but because of the passion involved in it.
