To describe my participation in an enterprise project as part of the LCVP and to evaluate its success or failure.
Summary.
We started off with an aim to create a successful business and we achieved that aim. We also aimed to improve our social skills and organizational skills and we also achieved this aim. We decided that a bake sale would be the best idea for a mini-company because we could all contribute equally to the group and have fun while doing so. We seen how successful a previous bake sale had been so we knew ours would most likely be a success. We used a survey to find our which cakes would be in high demand. My personal role in the group was production. I also purchased the raw materials. We used bright colourful posters to advertise our bake sale and also made an announcement on the intercom. Our bake sale took place on Friday the 13th of December in the front hall of our school. We each contributed €10 towards the cost of the raw materials. We made an income of €52.80 and made a profit of €14.30. Overall I found this experience to be an enjoyable and rewarding. I would one hundred percent recommend anyone to create a mini-company because it gives you an insight into the world of work. I developed my social skills and organizational skills by working with others. My new developed skills will help me at home and in the future.
Introduction.
Our aim was to organize a successful business and make a profit and to gain an insight into the world of work. We wished to improve our organizational skills and our social skills by working with others. At the start of the year our L.C.V.P teacher organized us into groups. Myself and three other girls called Amy, Shannon and Shona were in a group called 'Fun Buns'. Our roles were selected by our strongest traits. Shona was given the role of finance, Shannon was given the role of marketing and sale, Amy was given the role of advertisement and I myself was given the role of production.
