In addition to the lack of motivation, their interests can dominate over their goals. Interests can be different. One time they enjoy parties and hang out with friends. Another time they fall in love and cannot control their feelings. As a result, they miss classes so they find themselves far behind the rest of the class. Consequently, it becomes harder and harder to catch up. Instead of making an effort to catch up, they often postpone assignments for tomorrow, which never comes. Yes, relaxing is important; however, it should not prevent students from studying and achieving good grades. Again, students should balance their time for entertainment and studies.
