Water is life, with about 70% of the earth is covering with water. Over the last few years, water pollution has increased dramatically, threatening life on earth. Water pollution is "the presence in water of harmful or objectionable material in sufficient quantity to measurably degrade water". Pollution comes in many forms; air, water, soil, noise, radioactive, thermal, light and visual pollution. Those pollutants are very dangerous to the environment. There are many forms of water pollution; biological pollution, oxygen, nutrients and chemical. Water pollution happens because of the industrial waste, sewage waste and water waste, mining activities, marine dumping, accidental oil leakage, burning of fossil fuels, chemical fertilizers and pesticides, leakage from sewer lines, global warming, radioactive waste, urban development, leakage from the landfills, animal waste and underground storage leakage. Water pollution effects; human health, contaminated drinking water, mercury level risks, ecosystems, death of animals, economic cost and may of causes and effects as mentioned in the previous essay in which the causes and effects were analyzed. Water is one of the most world's important resources, and we can do all our parts to stop it from getting polluted more and more and as we know there is no way to decrease the percentage of the water pollution to 0% but there are many ways to decrease it to somehow a good percentage.
